Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation is:

‘A community space to help preserve and protect local flora and fauna. A centre to educate and create. A therapeutic natural environment. A place to feel safe.’

Our goal is to continue to create a place of beauty and biodiversity, curating wildlife management schemes and a safe, creative space for the community to enjoy.

We want as many people to benefit from the park as possible and are working to implement our carefully considered management plan.

The core principles of the foundation are rooted in the protection of the wildlife corridor and education in to the importance of protecting the animals and flowers that need the space to thrive in the wildlife corridor.

We invite all community groups who feel they could benefit from the park to get in touch. We have multiple areas that can be used to host community group projects and events.

The ethos of the park will be family and community oriented and we intend to ensure both the natural wildlife and our local community are not negatively impacted by visitors’ activities or behaviours.

In order to create a space that is safe and inclusive, we will:
- Make specific opening times for vulnerable and community groups;
- Make the wildlife that lives in the park the priority and have a positive impact on the land and river.
- To do regular surveys on the flora and fauna and be proactive in encouraging and promoting bio-diversity in the park.

Many thanks from the whole team at WWPF
